Paranoids have retained their XLParty title with a 16-14 victory of Defining Stars. With k1ck out of the way after losing to Defs in the Consolidation final on Saturday, Paranoids were favourite to win their second consecutive XLParty trophy, after winning the last tournament of 2010 in December. Defs, who had in this tournament their first competition with the new lineup, needed to win two maps after coming from the Lower Bracket, and almost forced the final into the second map, as they suffered a close 16-14 defeat on de_nuke.
